Started Sekiro in 2019 and rage quit the same year after stuck with genichiro, play again this year (2024) and got platinum tonight! getting all skills was pain in the ass.

This game is very hard. I have bloodborne platinum but this? Any advice?

My biggest problem with 100% in this game is the guides, none where perfect and always had one problem, weather that be not including the scans, to doing the collectibles during the story, to not having timestamps to collectibles. Also didn’t help that I actually needed to look at the map and find out how to get from point A to point B. Luckily this was fixed in the second game via fast travel and being able to see most of the collectibles with the exceptions being the fish, force tiers, bode story databanks, all characters databank, and a random databank in koboh. (Basically they removed the need for guides, except for those specific collectibles)

Mranwhile me having almost 1000 hours with 53% cause i just enjoy the story each time😢

I have two trophies left to get for this platinum.

Played it again on PS3, beat Old King Allant. Then nothing.. No cutscene. I beaten all bosses, but the game somehow glitched out. Started over again on PC and continously backed up my save file until I got to The Old One.

The way you explain concepts and the game itself along with the editing has greatly improved since the first demons souls video. Good job keep bettering your content!

German isn't insta-parrying you (even though it may look that way) his pistol has 2 different projectiles. 1 that is a shotgun which needs to hit during a parry window and the single pellet which will just bypass the parry window and set you up for a repost(if he was ever close enough to get one). Easy mistake to make especially since the uneven ground makes it to where most of the time you can't see what he is doing if you are locked on.

Honestly I prefer the original over the remake, but the platinum is harder in the original than in the remake. I'm like you though, I set out to platinum every Souls game since I discovered them, I have the trophies for all of them now, even Armored Core 6 simply because it's by From Software.

I’m so shocked by how even Isshin didn’t force you to learn how to deflect. You managed to beat every boss without using the main mechanic of the game. I don’t even know how you managed to find those easy strategies

Only thing that is going to be annoying is the Online achievements and the 70 golden missions to me. I really dislike when a story game has online achievement. The only achievement that should exist for any Story driven game is that you only need to launch Online mode and then you're done.
